Positive Storage collects personal information (name, delivery address, contact details, and payment information) solely for the purpose of facilitating logistics, unit delivery, and billing processes.

Data Protection

We implement industry-standard encryption protocols to protect your financial transactions. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Disclosure

Data may be shared with trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.

BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICY

Reservation Confirmation

A booking is considered ‘Confirmed’ only upon the validation of a credit card on file.

Cancellation Window

To avoid a ‘Restocking Fee’ of $50, cancellations must be requested at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled delivery date.

Rescheduling

We offer one complimentary rescheduling per booking, provided the request is made 24 hours in advance and is subject to inventory availability.

Billing

Initial delivery and first-month rental fees are processed at the time of container dispatch.

USER RENTAL AGREEMENT

Nature of Service (Non-Bailment)

Positive Storage provides mobile storage unit rentals. We do not take possession, custody, or control of the goods stored. The Customer is solely responsible for packing and securing items for transit.

Prohibited Items

Customers are strictly prohibited from storing:

  • Hazardous materials
  • Explosives
  • Flammable liquids
  • Perishable food
  • Livestock
  • Items of irreplaceable value (heirlooms, original legal documents, currency)

Liability for Unit

The Customer assumes full responsibility for any structural damage to the unit while on their premises, including but not limited to:

  • Graffiti
  • Impact damage
  • Forced entry

Lien Act Disclosure

Pursuant to the South Carolina Self-Service Storage Space Lien Act, Positive Storage reserves the right to retain and potentially auction the contents of the unit in the event of non-payment exceeding 30 days.

CONTENTS PROTECTION PLAN

Coverage Options

Customers may elect to purchase an internal Protection Plan. If declined, the Customer must provide proof of third-party insurance covering goods in transit and off-site storage.

Exclusions

Our protection plans do not cover damage resulting from:

  • Improper packing
  • Internal shifting during transit
  • Acts of God outside of logistical control

Valuation

Liability is limited to the declared value at the time of booking, up to the maximum cap specified in the chosen plan.
